St Neots set to expand further!

“St Neots is set to expand further in the coming years, both further east from Loves Farm, and also in the triangle south of Cambridge Road, east of the railway line and west of the A428. As well as new housing development there will be up to 25 hectares of employment land, and new schools, parkland, shops and community facilities will be created or built.
Huntingdonshire District Council, together with the landowners’ agents, are drawing up a design framework that will establish the design parameters for this future growth. We would like to learn from the experience of the current Loves Farm residents, and to understand what lessons can be learnt that can be applied to this future growth.
Mike Huntingdon, urban designer at Huntingdonshire District Council, will be coming along to the next meeting on 24th May, to share with the residents what could happen, and how the residents can influence and shape the future development.
This expansion of the town will also have an impact on the town centre, and suggestions will also be most welcome on how to improve the town centre.”
